Great Asheville subdivisions
While Asheville has many beautiful spots there are some specific subdivisions that stand out to me that I would like for you to be familiar with. These are locations with great natural beauty, amenities, convenient location, and charming home designs.
The Cliffs at Walnut Cove
The Cliffs is a premier golf and wellness luxury home community tucked into Walnut Cove Gap at the base of the Blue Ridge Parkway in S. Asheville. What makes them special are their large parcel sizes, premier amenities, privacy and security, and unique upscale home designs and features.
Prices currently range from $1.595M-$12.995M with square footage averaging 5,000 sf. You can expect to see premier appliances like Viking ranges and subzero refrigerators, wide plank hardwood floors, and designer tiled baths.

The Ramble at Biltmore Forest
The Ramble is another wonderful luxury community with its most prominent feature being parks, nature trails, and a wellness center. This community also prides itself on maintaining a culture of sustainability and preservation of the natural environment.
This community is located a bit closer to the city. Prices range from $1.595M-$4.99M. You can find similar features and fixtures to homes in The Cliffs.

Biltmore Park
Biltmore Park is the only planned community development in the city that is all-inclusive. Here you have restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, doctor's offices, grocery stores, and even a YMCA. The community also has nature trails and a pool. Located in Arden in S. Asheville this is a nice community for those who don't want to venture outside of the neighborhood too often.
Prices range from $1.2M-$3M.

Southcliff
Southcliff is a gated luxury community located in E. Asheville at the base of Cedar Mountain. Homes are designed in the mountain rustic and mountain modern styles. This community has an abundance of nature trails and most lots are very forested.

Lakeview Park
Lakeview Park surrounds charming Beaver Lake in N. Asheville. Residents have access to non-motorized watersports on the lake, nature trails, and a bird sanctuary. They also have the added convenience of being a short 7 minute drive to downtown. The Asheville Country Club and golf course is across the street and you can easily walk to the library, restaurants, and the Fresh Market.
Prices range from $1.5M-$3.5M.

Sherwood Heights
Sherwood Heights is one of my favorite neighborhoods. Located in N. Asheville surrounding the Asheville Country Club this is an established community with larger parcels, golf course and mountain views, and only 7 minutes to downtown Asheville. You also have access to Beaver Lake which you can use for non-motorized watersports, bird watching, and jogging or walking trails.
Prices range from $1M-$2.5M. You will find more one level homes here and most were built in the 60s and 70s.

Reems Creek Village
Reems Creek Village is a part of the Reems Creek Golf Club located in Weaverville, a short 15 minute drive north of Asheville. This community has stunning mountain views and is 5 minutes from the charming small town Main St. of Weaverville. Homes have larger square footage and bigger parcels set in a serene environment. Homes here go quickly because of the proximity to the city while still having a country setting.
Prices range from $1.4M-$3M.
