There are a lot of amazing events happening this weekend from theater to music to dancing. Here are some of things that you might want to check out!
Theater
Terpsicorps Theater of Dance will be presenting Cleopatra July 27-29 at the Diana Wortham Theater.
The innovative dance theater’s most lavish production to date, ‘Cleopatra’ embodies the opulence and wonder of Cleopatra’s Alexandria, a city whose riches and scientific innovations were centuries ahead of their time. Runway worthy costumes with a contemporary flair inspired by ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt, plus a two story set, multiple projection screens and the incomparable Terpsicorps dancers bring to life a true story more exciting than any piece of fiction.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are $25-60

The Vienna Light Orchestra present Magical Movie Scores at the First Congregational Church of Asheville on Saturday, the 29th.
Over the course of 70-mesmerizing minutes, you will experience an immersive tribute to Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Andrew Lloyd Weber and many more. The most iconic movie music performed by a live chamber orchestra in an enchanting candle-lit setting under a glowing moon.
