In 1621, the Pilgrims of Plymouth and the Wampanoag tribe did just that; they came together to share a meal and get to know one another in hopes of understanding each other better and founding lasting friendships. History says that it was a pretty casual and disorderly affair with people sitting on barrels outside with a plate on their lap much the same as we all huddle in the living room balancing a plate on our knee and trying not to spill our tea as kids and pets race around. They played games, fired guns, and drank cocktails...sounds a bit like the South, doesn't it?
While many people consider real estate the business of buying and selling property, it is actually the business of creating trusting relationships that last way beyond the sale.
I have been so fortunate that many of my previous clients I can now call friends. It is nothing for us to get together for dinner or simply have a quick phone chat to catch up on each other's lives. I have gotten to know so many interesting people through my work from all over the world with so many wonderful stories to tell.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey and your lives. For all of you, my wonderful friends and my loving family, I am truly grateful today and always.
